WOP Your Way to Stronger Abs: The Ultimate Fun Core Challenge!

Hey FIT fam! Are you ready to fire up those abs with a workout that’s as fun as it is fierce? I’ve got a challenge for you that will have you dancing, twisting, and burning your core like never before. Welcome to the WOP Ab Challenge! Inspired by the hit ‘90s song WOP by J-Dash, this workout puts a fitness spin on the lyrics, turning it into a full-body core blast. The best part? It’s all about endurance—how many rounds can you last?

How to WOP Your Abs to the Beat

The rules are simple: follow the movements below in sync with the song, and when you hear “Play dead like…”—DROP! That’s your well-earned 30-second break before jumping back in. If you’re doing this to the music, set the song to 2:00 to give yourself 10 seconds to prepare before the challenge begins at 2:10!

The Moves

  1. “Drop it to the floor” → Russian Twists:
  2. Drop your hands side to side in a seated position, keeping your core engaged.
  • “Wop” → Knee-to-Elbow Twists:
  • Stand or stay seated and bring your knee to your opposite elbow, engaging those obliques.
  • “Lean” → Around-the-World Extension:
  • Extend your arms and legs in a full range of motion before returning to the Wop movement.
  • “Turn around and Wop” → Hand Claps Under the Leg:
  • Keep your core tight while lifting your legs and clapping underneath.
  • “Wop” (again!) → Wide-Leg Spread to Closed-Leg Plank:
  • A challenging core move to keep you on your toes—literally!
  • “Wiggle” → High Plank Pulses:
  • Engage your core and pulse back and forth before finishing with another elbow-to-knee Wop.

“Play dead like…” DROP and REST for 30 seconds before starting another round! Congratulations! you’ve made it to the end… of the ROUND. Time to catch a breath, and go for another! You got this!

      I did my “My Thing” this week with the weekly Fit Challenge!!

        Lovely Lady!!!! Yes maam! We congratulate you. How was it? too hard, or not hard enough for such a great athlete like yourself?

      I must admit, for me and mom, it took about 5 round before it really burnt us up! After that, each round was a challenge. the set that we’re showing here was actually me passing out at the end. My abs gave out. I was thoroughly impressed by the routine we created
