From the moment I laced up my first pair of sneakers in high school sports, I knew movement was my language. Whether it was cheerleading on the sidelines or dancing on professional stages, fitness wasn’t just a part of my life—it was my energy source. And though my days as a professional cheerleader and dancer eventually faded into memories, my passion for movement never dimmed. Instead, it evolved.
Transitioning into fitness instruction, I charged forward, leading classes in community gyms, making my mark in the fitness world. It was during this time that a little pair of eyes watched me more intently than any student ever had. My second son, Tjuan, sat behind the glass in the gym’s childcare center, too young to join, but soaking in every move, every ounce of energy, every moment of commitment.
I never could have imagined that those early days of him watching me teach would plant the seeds for something greater—something that would later become our shared passion, our business, and our movement: iLivFit.
