Hello, my fabulous Fit Fam! This is your favorite fit mom over 50, here to share the secret to staying sexy, strong, and vibrant well into your golden years. We all know that age doesn’t define us, but keeping up with life’s demands while feeling youthful and energized can be a challenge. That’s why I want to introduce you to my absolute favorite workout—“The Complex.” This workout has transformed not just my body, but my energy, confidence, and zest for life. I also will crack the door on one of my biggest energy secrets that has gave me sustained, healthy, vibrant energy through the ages! Let’s dive in!
What is “The Complex”?
“The Complex” is not your average workout. It’s a multifunctional, full-body routine that seamlessly integrates four powerhouse movements: Remember to take this at your own pace! This is about Living Fit! So if you want to start with just body weight, please don’t feel ashamed. If you know your body is ready, grab a EZ bar like my son and go for the full movement. If you’re like me and Living Fit well into your Golden Years, then grab some dumbbells and go at it! There is no excuse! YOU CAN DO THIS SIS!

No worries sis! I got you! If the video was a bit too fast, here’s a breakdown of each movement along with a explanation of what WONDERS it will do for your Body!
- Snatch – An explosive, total-body move that lights up your muscles and fires up your metabolism. THIS KEEPS YOU YOUTHFUL! DO NOT SKIP THIS MOVEMENT. Accept the challenge here. This movement is what reminds your body of HOW to move. Along with that, the quick movement is what makes the difference between “grannies” who say “hold on sweety” as they take years to pick up a toy, or the G-Ma! who scoops it up quickly as they chase their grandkid down the hallway!

- Overhead Press – Strengthens your shoulders and arms while challenging your core stability. This movement is GREAT for your spin, shoulders, and arms. By following this with the snatch before, You have just woke your blood vessels up! They have swooped from your feet, up into your finger tips because you’ve flexed from the floor to the ceiling all while pulling weight! You are literally revving your bodies engine, and reversing your aging.

- Deep Front Squat – Sculpts your legs, strengthens your core, and enhances flexibility. Who said women over 50 can’t drop it low! The FITnomenal woman laughs at the phrase “How low can you go” because we remind ourselves daily! This movement gets your legs and ligaments back active. In addition, by holding the weight in front of you, you engage your core and back to balance and sustain the weight in front which reminds your body of how it’s suppose to move.

- Romanian Deadlift (RDL) – Targets your glutes and hamstrings while improving posture and balance. This again challenges your “fast twitch” muscles your shoulders and arms all while keeping the blood flowing as you stretch down to perform the RDL and start the workout all over again.
